Kurash incorporates features close to the spirit and character of the Uzbek people, namely courage, bravery, spiritual generosity, fairness and humanism. There is a legitimate ground to hope that in the nearest future Kurash would be included into the Olympic program. I am adamant that this would be an important contribution to the International Olympic Movement, and a reason of pride for the people of Uzbekistan. Our aim, our efforts are directed to make Kurash an Olympic sport
