The International Hospitality Industry Organizational and Operational Issues

This section looks in detail at the magnitude and nature of the hospitality industry in the five major regions of the world: Western Europe; Eastern Europe; North America; the Far East and Pacific Rim; Latin America and Africa. Within each region, the authors identify the main environmental factors and key conditions that affect the hospitality industry. The discussion nor- mally begins with an overview of the demographic and economic structure of each region and then shifts to the tourism industry.
